Summary
  • Provides assistance to the Anesthesia Care Team in the surgical suites to facilitate patient care by maintaining equipment, supplies, restocking stands, and participating in critical phases of anesthesia care.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Anesthesia clinical provider by setting up equipment such as laryngoscopes, intubation tools, syringes, IV bags, and warming devices.
  • Perform quality control tests for point of care testing.
  • Manage supply and inventory, report equipment needing repair.
  • Assist in patient preparation and draping for invasive procedures, including retrieval of non-narcotics and blood products.
  • Support intraoperative volume resuscitations as directed.
Credentials
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
  • Certified Anesthesia Technician preferred
Education or Equivalent Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Graduate of an Anesthesia Technician program or related program preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience if not a graduate of a specialized program.
