Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Basic Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of hire.
• One year of nursing assistant and/or patient care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Follows aseptic technique principles in tasks and disposes of single-use items properly.
• Maintains anesthesia supply inventory and ensures carts are stocked and area is clean.
• Checks expiration dates and rotates stock for earliest expiration first.
• Performs anesthesia post-case cleaning and returns equipment to storage.
• Assists anesthesia providers by supplying requested instruments and supplies as needed.
• Transports carts and supplies to procedure areas and supports patient transport as required.
• Sets up suction devices, switches tanks, and ensures equipment is ready and safe for use.
• Maintains equipment repair logs and communicates equipment issues for timely fixes.
