Job summary

MedStar Health’s Washington Hospital Center is seeking an anesthesia technician to assist the anesthesia provider and prep operating rooms for surgery. You will clean and maintain anesthesia equipment, ensure supplies are stocked, and support nursing staff during procedures.

The role requires 1–2 years of anesthesia tech experience, Basic computer skills, CPR certification, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years anesthesia technician experience preferred.
• CPR certification required; ACLS preferred; CNA encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesia provider and prepare ORs.
• Maintain anesthesia equipment; clean and sterilize.
• Transport specimens and patients as needed.
• Assist in inventory management and supply requisitions.
• Support care associates and nursing staff as assigned.
