Job summary

Tucson Medical Center is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to assemble and maintain supplies, equipment, and instruments for anesthesia setup. You will assist anesthesiologists and support the OR team across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases, ensuring equipment functionality and inventory control.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and BLS certification; ACLS/PALS are preferred. This role requires ability to work under pressure and maintain aseptic techniques.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• No prior experience required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Knowledge of anesthesia equipment and sterilization practices.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and maintain supplies, equipment and instruments for anesthesia setup.
• Assist anesthesiologists with supplies for line placement and procedures.
• Maintain infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Monitor and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Coordinate with Warehouse for inventory and restocking.
• Assist in preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative support.
