Job summary

Banner Health's Anesthesiology team in Phoenix seeks an Anesthesia Technician to support equipment and supplies for the OR. You will prepare ventilators, monitoring equipment, and anesthesia carts, ensure stock levels, and assist with room turnover under the supervision of anesthesia professionals.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and current BLS; 1–2 years of healthcare experience. This full-time role involves day shifts, on-call rotations, and a commitment to patient safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• 1 to 2 years of related healthcare experience and current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain anesthesia equipment. Clean, calibrate, and replace soda lime; perform safety checks.
• Stock anesthesia carts and operating rooms; restock drug drawers and supplies.
• Prepare equipment such as ventilators, suction, airway equipment; assist with invasive lines and monitoring.
• Assist anesthesia personnel with setup and insertion of invasive monitoring lines, catheters, temporary pacemakers and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Transport patients and specimens; assist with pre/post-operative movements to critical care units as needed.
