Job summary

Adventist Health’s Saint Helena facility is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to maintain anesthesia machines and related equipment. You will assist anesthesia staff with pressure line insertions and manage anesthesia-related supplies.

Position requires direct supervision within defined parameters and adherence to safety protocols. Responsibilities include daily testing and calibration of monitoring equipment, troubleshooting intraoperative devices, and collaborating with staff and vendors to

Qualifications

• High school or GED required.
• Associate's/Technical degree preferred.
• Completion of medical terminology course preferred.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates autoclaves and cleaning equipment per policy.
• Assembles pressure line insertion and monitoring supplies.
• Assists physicians during line insertions and monitors equipment intraoperatively.
• Tests functionality and calibrates patient monitoring equipment daily.
• Works with staff and vendors to ensure product quality while managing costs.
• Handles other job-related duties as assigned.
