Job summary

Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis County is seeking an Anesthesia Technician for overnight coverage.

The role provides skilled assistance to anesthesiology providers, prepares equipment, assists with line placements and specialized procedures, and performs EKGs to support patient care. This position requires a High School Diploma or GED; 2–5 years of related experience is preferred, with Anesthesia Technician, CNA, or CPR certifications preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares IV, central lines, and sets up transducers. Assists with rapid infusion of blood products, processes blood specimens, and completes EKG tests.
• Sets up, primes, and calibrates various equipment. Completes and documents quality checks on various equipment.
• Assists with special procedures to include, but not limited to, line-placement, fiber optic intubation, hemodilutions, echocardiograms, EEGs and regional anesthesia.

Schedule:

Monday through Thursday, 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM

Join our team as an Anesthesia Technician and play a vital role in supporting anesthesia providers during surgical and special procedures. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment, assisting with line placements and specialized procedures, processing specimens, performing EKGs, and ensuring all equipment is calibrated and ready for patient care.
