Job summary

Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center is seeking an Anesthesia Tech for day shifts (9:30am-6pm) with call requirements. The role supports anesthesiologists in the operating room, prepares equipment, and ensures sterile technique and infection control.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years anesthesia experience and hospital exposure, plus BLS certification. This position requires careful equipment handling, artifact-free documentation, and teamwork to maintain patient safety.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of anesthesia experience preferred.
• Hospital experience required.
• BLS (American Heart Association) required.

Responsibilities

• Assists anesthesiologists as directed during cases.
• Prepares anesthesia machine and cart with required supplies prior to each case; maintains equipment and monitors.
• Demonstrates ability to address specialty needs and assist with endotracheal intubation and extubation during routine procedures.
• Performs inventory; restocks anesthesia medications, trays and supplies; cleans and restocks carts and machines.
• Ensures infection control precautions and sterile technique are followed; participates in quality assurance documentation.
