Job summary

SSM Health in Jefferson City, MO is seeking an Anesthesia Tech for the Endoscopy Lab. This full-time Day shift (M-F 8am–4:30pm) role emphasizes patient safety and teamwork in a fast-paced surgical setting. You will set up and calibrate anesthesia equipment, stock carts, maintain monitors, and ensure infection control guidelines.

No holidays, weekends, or on-call duties apply. Requires a High School diploma or 10 years of experience and BLS certification. Daily Pay is available for this position.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED or 10 years of work experience.
No experience required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform standing/walking tasks for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Checks, cleans and maintains anesthesia machine monitors and related equipment.
Assists in setup of anesthesia equipment as needed.
Orders, obtains and stocks sterile supplies for anesthesia carts and cabinets.
Maintains inventories of supplies in anesthesia and related areas; ensures carts are stocked.
Follows infection control and regulatory guidelines; ensures proper equipment servicing.
Assists in operating room turnover by disinfecting surfaces and connecting a clean anesthesia circuit.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience
