Missouri Baptist Medical Center is part of BJC HealthCare and seeks an Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesia providers in surgical and special procedures. The role includes preparing equipment, assisting with line placements, processing specimens, performing EKGs, and ensuring calibration and readiness of all devices.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 2-5 years of related experience, and preferred certifications such as Anesthesia Technician, CNA, or CPR.

Responsabilités

• Prepares IV, central lines, and sets up transducers. Assists with rapid infusion of blood products, processes blood specimens, and completes EKG tests.
• Sets up, primes, and calibrates various equipment. Completes and documents quality checks on various equipment.
• Assists with special procedures to include line-placement, fiber optic intubation, hemodilutions, echocardiograms, EEGs and regional anesthesia.

Anesthesia Technician (Evening)

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 1PM to 6:30 AM

Join our team as an Anesthesia Technician and play a vital role in supporting anesthesia providers during surgical and special procedures. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment, assisting with line placements and specialized procedures, processing specimens, performing EKGs, and ensuring all equipment is calibrated and ready for patient care.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2-5 years of related experience preferred
• Anesthesia Technician, CNA, and/or CPR certifications preferred

Overview

Role Purpose

Provides skilled assistance to anesthesiology providers, such as assisting with special procedures, preparing equipment and supplies and providing medications for use by anesthesiologists.
