KAISER in San Diego, California seeks a Certified Anesthesia Technologist to support the anesthesia team under supervision. The role includes equipment setup, sterile technique, and patient preparation for general, regional, and local anesthesia, with responsibilities spanning from line placement to intraoperative monitoring.

The ideal candidate holds an AS degree or ASATT certification, with BLS and ACLS, and can lift heavy equipment and work closely with perioperative teams to ensure patient

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited program in Anesthesia Technology with AS degree or ASATT-certified technologist.
• Certification in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support is required.
• A strong understanding of asepsis and sterile technique is essential.

Mansioni

• Assist anesthesia provider with plan of care and equipment setup.
• Prepare and apply sterile technique and anesthesia trays for procedures.
• Set up invasive monitoring and assist with arterial lines, central lines, and PA catheters.
• Assist with patient positioning, induction, and regional blocks under supervision.
• Respond to Code Blue/Pink, coordinate with PACU andCritical Care units.
• Maintain inventory, coordinate with Pharmacy for medications, and support equipment maintenance.
