Job summary

Cooper University Health Care in Camden, NJ seeks a Patient Care Technician/Nursing Assistant to support anesthesia perioperative functions and general department duties. Duties include room turnover, supply restocking, and equipment cleaning, with emphasis on excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate has prior PCT or nursing assistant training, a high school diploma, and BLS certification. The role requires initiative and ability to work with diverse teams in a fast-paced healthcare

• Previous training and experience as patient care technician or nursing assistant of one year duration.

• Demonstrates initiative and ability to take independent action.

Responsibilities

• Assists anesthesia department with daily preparation for cases, room turnover, restocking of supplies, cleaning of equipment and other duties as noted in job description.

• Follows established policies & procedures.
• Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors.
