Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake is seeking an anesthesia support professional to prepare and organize anesthesia equipment, set up carts, and assist with patient transfers and monitoring. You will help maintain a safe OR environment and respond quickly in emergencies while protecting patient privacy.

In this role, you will follow strict infection prevention practices, coordinate with the anesthesia team, and ensure all supplies are clean, sterile, and ready for use during surgeries.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Setting up, transporting, and maintaining anesthesia carts and equipment to keep all supplies clean and ready for safe use
• Helping patients by assisting with transfers, positioning, preparation, and applying non-invasive monitoring devices
• Acting quickly and confidently if an emergency happens
• Keeping the environment clean and safe by following infection prevention and safety practices
• Speaking openly with patients, families, and your team, always protecting patient privacy and advocating for patient rights
