Job summary

OrthoColorado Hospital is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support licensed anesthesia care physicians in the clinical setting. You will assist with equipment, supplies, and patient care under supervision.

The role emphasizes maintaining the anesthesia environment, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing inventory while collaborating with OR staff to deliver orthopedic patient care.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED and Basic Life Support.
• Healthcare experience and basic computer skills are required.
• Preferred: Associates degree and ACLS/PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesia care physicians under supervision.
• Maintain anesthesia environment, equipment, supplies, and personnel.
• Ensure department regulatory and accreditation compliance related to anesthesia care.
• Oversee and maintain inventory of equipment and supplies.

While working as an Anesthesia Technician you will perform duties under the supervision of licensed anesthesia care physicians and assist the licensed anesthesia physician in the clinical setting. To be successful you will:

• Demonstrate practical knowledge and expertise in all general areas of anesthesia
• Maintain the anesthesia environment, equipment, supplies and personnel to facilitate department functions.
• Ensure department compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements related to anesthesia care
• Oversee and maintains inventory of equipment and supplies.

Job Requirements

Required

• High School Diploma/G.E.D.
• Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association
• Previous healthcare related experience
• Basic computer skills

Preferred

• Associates Degree
• Previous Anesthesia Technician experience
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support
