Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a scheduling professional to manage high-volume, fully computerized scheduling tasks. The role serves as a liaison among staff, medical personnel, and physicians’ offices, requiring medical terminology knowledge and strong customer service.

Candidates should have 3 years of medical clerical experience or an associate’s degree, plus proficiency with computer applications and typing. Hours are 8am–5pm, with on-call duties required.

• Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology.
• Three (3) years previous medical related clerical experience or an associate’s degree.
• Demonstrated organizational and communication/customer service skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skill in utilization of computer application.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduling function in a high volume fully computerized environment.
• Acts as a professional liaison for staff, other hospital personnel, medical staff, and physicians’ offices.
• Must possess typing skills and strong customer service and problem solving abilities.
• Work Hours: 8a-5p; On-Call: Yes.
