Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain anesthesia machines and equipment in Operating Room (OR).
• Assemble transducer lines and equipment necessary for invasive pressure monitoring as needed.
• Clean and decontaminate anesthesia machine, equipment and supplies after completion of a procedure.
• Stock anesthesia machines, drugs, drug trays, materials, supplies, and gases required for daily use.
• Make continuous rounds during assigned shift to assist anesthesiologists and nursing staff in patient care.
• Communicate necessary information to supervisor, physicians and other health care team members.
• Ensure availability of required supplies and processing of reusable items by regular inventory.
• Serve as a preceptor and assist in orientation for new personnel.
