Job summary

SCP Health is seeking a skilled Healthcare Operations Coordinator to support Tyler/Longview facilities. You will manage daily operations and scheduling for anesthesia teams, owning real-time scheduling and ensuring coverage to meet minimums.

You will track PTO/CME, credentialing processes, onboarding, and collaborate with hospital leadership to drive performance and compliance across perioperative services.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of healthcare operations, practice management, or facility administration experience.
• Experience with provider scheduling, staffing coordination, or call coverage management preferred.
• Experience with credentialing, payroll support, and onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily operations and case flow with the Board Runner, CRNA Lead, Lead Anesthesiologist, and OR leadership.
• Owns real-time scheduling execution and coordinates with CET on updates.
• Oversees distribution of call, weekend, and after-hours coverage.
• Maintains PTO, CME, vacation, and leave tracking and timely approvals.
• Tracks shifts/hours against annual minimum and backfills coverage as needed.
• Maintains relationships with OR, nursing, and hospital administration; attends perioperative meetings.
• Holds anesthesia meetings with Medical Director/Chief; supports onboarding, credentialing, payroll, and admin support on the ground.
• Secures coverage via internal providers, premium shifts, and locums as needed.
• Creates and monitors facility metrics and reports trends; serves as escalation point for operations issues.
• Supports compliance requirements (TB documentation, HR compliance) and policy communications locally.
