Qualifications

• Knowledge of proper instrumentation, supplies and equipment used for anesthesia induction and monitoring.
• Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment used by the anesthesiologists.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and OR standards.
• Ability to set up and assist anesthesiologist for insertion of central lines and A-line placement.
• Ability to re-order and maintain anesthesia supplies.
• Knowledge of proper sterilization and washing of reusable equipment used by anesthesiologist.
• Ability to report/remove malfunctioning equipment to biomed for repair.
• Knowledge of daily quality checks for anesthesia equipment/machines.
