Job summary

UKG is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to maintain supplies and equipment across hospital areas where anesthesia is administered, including Surgical Services and Labor and Delivery. The role emphasizes aseptic technique and equipment readiness, ensuring patient safety and smooth case flow.

Responsibilities include restocking, labeling, checking expiration dates, infection control, and supporting anesthesia staff with supplies and equipment for each case.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as Anesthesia Assistant/Technician helpful; ability to learn drugs and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain supplies and equipment across hospital areas where anesthesia is administered (Surgical Services, Labor and Delivery, etc.).
• Demonstrate competency in aseptic technique and ensure equipment is in proper working order.
• Restock supplies, label carts and cabinets, and monitor drug expiration dates monthly.
• Adhere to infection control standards and proper isolation techniques; maintain clean equipment and rooms between cases.
• Assist anesthesia personnel by restocking supplies, preparing lines and setups, and supporting emergency readiness.
