Job summary

Everleap Fertility is seeking a skilled Laboratory Technologist to join our Rochester, NY team. The role focuses on Andrology testing, sperm processing, cryopreservation, and QA/QC to uphold high standards of accuracy and patient care.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow established laboratory protocols, safety procedures, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform Andrology laboratory testing and procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Perform sperm banking procedures, including specimen processing, cryopreservation, and documentation.
• Conduct routine laboratory equipment maintenance and quality control activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
• Perform QA/QC procedures to support laboratory accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records related to IVF, IUI, and other fertility services.
• Document laboratory procedures, results, and patient information in the EMR.
• Communicate professionally with patients regarding laboratory services and sperm cryopreservation outcomes.
• Assist with inventory management, supply ordering, and vendor coordination.
• Support laboratory regulatory inspections and adhere to policies and regulations.
• Participate in meetings, training, and continuing education.
• Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and lab colleagues to ensure efficient operations and patient care.
• Identify and report laboratory concerns or unexpected results to the Laboratory Supervisor.
