If you're an Andrology /Endocrine Laboratory Technician looking for a new opportunity in a fast-paced, professional environment where your talent contributes to changing lives, we want to talk to you. This position involves collaboration with physicians, other medical providers, and patients by providing nursing case management services for fertility treatments.

Immediate opening for a full-time Andrology /Endocrine Laboratory Technician at our Greenwood Village location, with some half days at our Central Park, CO location. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 4:00PM. Will rotate weekends with other lab staff, approximately 1 weekend per month, 1 to 2 days per weekend.

Pay: $24-$26 per hour.

Responsibilities

As an Andrology/Endocrine Laboratory Technician, your responsibilities include:

  • Shipping, receiving, and disposition of frozen samples.
  • Ordering and receiving lab supplies.
  • Examining and processing specimens for routine semen analysis.
  • Performing counts for concentration and motility, histological techniques for identifying leucocytes, immature germ cells, and morphology.
  • Processing semen for ART procedures and intrauterine inseminations (IUIs).
  • Ensuring proper sample collection, delivery, and identification (chain of custody).
  • Performing daily/monthly quality control procedures for media and equipment.
  • Assisting in maintaining laboratory accreditation by adhering to laws and guidelines.
  • Checking and recording refrigerator temperatures for proper storage.
  • Performing calibration, quality controls, and preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Monitoring reagent supplies and ordering when necessary.
Qualifications
  • B.S. in Biology or relevant science and/or MLT ASCP certification.
  • Minimum of one year laboratory experience.
  • Experience with a chemistry analyzer preferred.
  • Tissue culture (sterile technique) and semen processing experience a plus.
