Job summary

TechDigital Group is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer focused on Android device automation testing and test framework development. The role requires designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions to ensure quality, reliability, and performance of Android-based applications and systems.

You will build scalable automation frameworks, integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support end-to-end testing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on automation experience.
• Proficient with Playwright and Java.
• Experience automating Kafka-based messaging.
• Knowledge of Android device testing and mobile automation.
• Ability to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.
• Experience with test automation framework development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for Android device testing.
• Create and execute automated test scripts using Playwright or similar automation tools.
• Develop automation solutions using Java and industry-standard design patterns.
• Build and maintain automation for Kafka-based messaging and event-driven applications.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
• Enhance automation coverage and improve testing efficiency across applications and platforms.
• Support CI/CD integration and ensure automation execution within release pipelines.
• Collaborate with business, development, and QA teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
