Android Software Engineer, Monetization Client - Ads Core Technology, Demonstration

Responsibilities
The Monetization client team is responsible for delivering innovative ads products on TikTok, including content ads, new ad formats, vertical solutions, creator monetization business accounts, and ads experiences.

Working closely with the product team, our mission is to create a platform allowing advertisers to promote their products on TikTok and to build a bridge connecting advertisers and TikTok users. Supporting innovative monetization features while ensuring a positive user experience on TikTok is our priority.

We seek passionate mobile software engineers to develop TikTok ads products, optimize their stability and performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results rapidly.

What you will do:

• Design and implement new monetization features for our mobile app;
• Collaborate with design and product teams to create a top-tier ads experience;
• Analyze and optimize Android applications for efficiency and performance;
• Promote robust, maintainable code, clear documentation, and high-quality work within tight deadlines.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field;
• At least 1 year of native Android development experience;
• Strong object-oriented design skills;
• Proficiency in Java or Kotlin;
• Ability to debug large, complex codebases;
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience building consumer-facing products;
• Experience with Android architecture refactoring and optimization;
• Experience in performance optimization.

Job Information
