Overview

We are looking for a high-caliber Android Engineer to join a premier global commerce platform. This isn\u2019t a standard consumer app role; you will be developing the next-generation SDKs, libraries, and tools that power millions of secure payment transactions across the globe. You will work on a unified technology stack that spans multiple continents, solving complex problems at the intersection of mobile security and high-volume data processing.

The Tech Stack

• Primary Language: 3+ years of professional Kotlin experience.
• Architecture: Strong Object-Oriented Design and asynchronous programming mastery.
• Core Mobile: 3+ years of Android experience building robust applications or shared libraries (AARs/JARs).
• Integrations: Experience interfacing with RESTful services (JSON/XML).
• Environment: Multithreaded, high-throughput systems where performance and security are paramount.

What Youll Do

• Design, debug, and modify complex software features for a global commerce engine.
• Build and maintain high-performance SDKs used by enterprise-level clients.
• Lead code reviews and technical meetings, influencing project estimates and architectural decisions.
• Solve "difficult-to-replicate" software bugs using deep static code analysis and advanced debugging tools.
• Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum framework to deliver rock-solid, secure code.

Required Qualifications

• Education: BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years focused on the Android ecosystem and Kotlin.
• Technical Grit: Must be comfortable with multithreaded environments and independent troubleshooting.
• Communication: Excellent English written and verbal skills for high-stakes technical collaboration.
• Eligibility: Permanent U.S. Work Authorization is required. (No H1B, OPT, or CPT sponsorship).

Bonus Points For

• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).
• Unit Testing with Dependency Injection (JUnit, Mockito, Robolectric).
• Communicating with external hardware via USB, Bluetooth, or TCP/IP.
