Job summary

Robotic Technologies Automation is seeking a Lead Android Engineer to drive scalable, enterprise-grade Android apps using Kotlin, Java, Jetpack Compose, and MVVM architecture. You will lead design, implementation, testing, and production support while mentoring peers.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with REST/GraphQL, Retrofit, Room, and CI/CD pipelines, plus a track record of shipping high-quality mobile experiences in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Must have strong experience leading Android development

• Experience with MVVM, Clean Architecture, and testing frameworks

Responsibilities

• Lead Android application design, development, architecture, testing, and production support.
• Develop applications using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, AndroidX, Hilt/Dagger, and Room.
• Integrate REST/GraphQL APIs, Retrofit, OkHttp, OAuth, and backend services.
• Work on mobile payments, checkout, POS, and payment gateway integrations.
• Implement performance optimization, automated testing, and production monitoring.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Gradle, Fastlane, or Firebase.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and provide technical leadership.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, and Backend teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
