Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience programming in C++, Java, Kotlin, or JavaScript.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, OOP, and debugging.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Experience developing Android applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software features for PlayStation Portal with guidance from experienced engineers.
• Develop and improve system software and user interface features that enhance the PlayStation Portal user experience.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while applying software development best practices.
• Test, debug, and troubleshoot software in development environments and on devices to identify and resolve issues.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of an Agile Scrum team.
• Collaborate with engineers across teams to investigate technical challenges and develop solutions.
• Gain hands-on experience with Android-based software development and learn how features move from design through implementation, testing, and delivery.
