Job summary

InfraTech Solutions is seeking an experienced Mobile Software Engineer – Android to build consumer-facing mobile solutions that strengthen real-world community engagement in the New York area. You will champion modern Android architecture and deliver performant features for end users.

As part of a cross-functional team, you will ship native Android applications, conduct code reviews, optimize performance, and ensure accessibility.

Qualifications

• 3+ years shipping native Android apps.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, or both.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose and Android frameworks.
• Experience integrating mobile clients with RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of modern mobile architecture and testing practices.
• Experience publishing live apps to Google Play.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Write scalable Kotlin/Java code across the software lifecycle.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams from vision to deployment.
• Build and optimize native Android apps for responsiveness and stability.
• Lead code reviews and refine app architectures.
• Diagnose performance bottlenecks across devices.
• Incorporate accessibility and user-centric design into releases.
• Stay updated with Android SDK tools and industry standards.
