Job summary

Meta is seeking talented principal engineers to lead cross-functional teams in building cutting-edge products that connect billions of people worldwide. You will oversee complex technical problems, drive new features, and improve existing products across mobile and web platforms while shaping long-term technical roadmaps.

You will mentor executives, communicate complex systems clearly, and influence staffing decisions as you lead large-scale initiatives and tackle performance and scalability

Qualifications

• Experience driving large cross-functional engineering efforts.
• Experience mentoring/influencing executive stakeholders across organizations.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Experience communicating and working across functions to drive solutions.
• Proven track record of planning multi-year roadmap in which short-term projects ladder to the long-term mission.
• 12+ years of programming experience in a relevant language OR 8+ years experience with a PhD.
• Experience utilizing data and analysis to explain technical problems and provide detailed feedback and solutions.
