Job summary

The Trade Desk is seeking an experienced Android Platform Software Engineer to enhance our platform software for Android devices. This role involves close collaboration with OEMs to ensure top-notch performance, with responsibilities including board bring-up activities and Android Framework component development.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in Android platform development and a strong understanding of Android architecture, along with proficiency in C/C++ or Java/Kotlin.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands‑on experience with at least 5+ years in Android platform development.
• Strong expertise in Board Bring‑up processes and customization.
• Deep knowledge of Android BSP development and integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead board bring-up activities for new Android devices.
• Design and develop Android Framework components.
• Create and maintain Board Support Packages for various SoC platforms.
