Job summary

Digital Links Inc. in Chantilly, VA seeks an experienced Android OTA engineer to integrate OMA-DM/FOTA clients into the Android 16 OTA path and support safe device-fleet updates, rollback and carrier DM requirements.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on OTA integration, strong Java and C++, and experience with update_engine, A/B updates, and AVB. You will collaborate with BSP teams and carrier partners to deliver robust OTA campaigns.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Android OTA integration experience.
• OMA-DM protocol knowledge: DM Tree, Management Objects, Sessions and FUMO.
• Strong Java and C++ with debugging of failed updates.

• Implement A/B or Virtual A/B updates using update_engine, including automatic rollback.
• Build campaign hooks between the device and device-maker DM server.

Mandatory Skills
