Job summary

Mapjects is seeking a mobile developer to create and enhance applications for iPhone and Android. You will collaborate with Product Management to define functional specifications and implement multi-device features.

Initial contract is flexible; after the first month, we’re open to remote work for the right candidate. We offer a contract-based engagement with 1099 or W2 arrangements.

Qualifications

• Experience with Android SDK or Xcode.
• Develop mobile apps for iPhone and Android.
• Collaborate with Product Management to define functional specs.
• Implement multi-device app features.
• Research and adopt new technologies.

Job Description

• Experience working with Android SDK or Xcode
• Developing mobile applications for either iPhone and Android devices
• Writing coherent, organized code.
• Show an ability to start from a template of code, or develop a template of code.
• Working with Product Management to help define functional specifications for mobile applications
• Implementing multi-device application features
• Researching, adopting and integrating new technologies
• Innovating and improving existing products and mobile app features
