Job summary

FairMoney is seeking a Lead Risk Manager to own the Android Quick Loans portfolio in Nigeria. You will act as a mini-CEO for the portfolio, driving commercial, economic, risk and people outcomes.

You will shape end-to-end credit strategy, affordability models, pricing, and decision rules while collaborating with Finance, Product, Engineering and Operations to optimize performance and growth.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in consumer credit risk, credit strategy or lending portfolio management.
• Proven ownership of a material lending portfolio with revenue and profitability.
• Experience building annual business plans and monthly forecasts.
• Strong SQL capability and Python or similar analytics tooling.
• Excellent executive communication and evidence-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Own Android revenue, gross loan book growth, risk-adjusted profitability.
• Develop and manage annual Android business plan and strategic roadmap.
• Produce monthly portfolio forecast and align with budgets.
• Lead a senior Android credit-strategy team and cross-functional partners.
• Translate credit strategy into decision-engine rules and production changes.
• Drive affordability and pricing decisions with risk controls.
