Job summary

Redolent Infotech Pvt. Ltd. is urgently seeking an Android Engineer for an onshore assignment in CA. The Senior role requires hands-on Android development, Java expertise, and experience with REST APIs and Google Cloud Messaging. Six to twelve months+ duration with rate DOE.

The candidate will participate in the discovery phase, code reviews, and debugging of mobile solutions while ensuring scalable, robust mobile software delivery. Published Android applications are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field with 5 years of experience building scalable ecommerce applications or mobile software.
• Experience with mobile software development using Java.
• Experience with distributed source control systems (Git/Github).
• Experience with agile Scrum methodology.
• Experience with mobile network clients using HTTP, REST APIs and Google Cloud Messaging.
• Experience with Google Play APIs: Maps, Location, Cloud Messaging.
• Experience with memory analysis tools and debugging techniques.
• Experience with embedded real time systems with limited resources.
• Experience with Android software development.
• Experience with design patterns and data structures.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to development, execution, and improvement of action plans.
• Executes Mobile Engineering projects
• Participates in the discovery phase of mobile engineering projects
• Participates in peer code reviews and team development; provides and supports the implementation of business solutions
• Provides mobile engineering support to the business
• Troubleshoots business and production issues for mobile devices
