Included Health is seeking an Android Engineer to help build and launch our Android experience for members and clinicians. You will collaborate with Product and Design to deliver fast, accessible mobile experiences in a remote-first environment.

You’ll contribute to high-performance app development, partner with stakeholders, and help shape mobile UX standards while growing with a talented Treat Engineering team.

Qualifications

• Recent 2024 graduate with strong fundamentals.

About the role:

Our Treat Engineering team collaborates closely with Product Management and Design to scale and strengthen the healthcare experiences for our members and clinicians. Our powerful healthcare app includes personalized Provider matching, 24/7 Telemedicine + Expert opinions on diagnoses and treatment plans, and medical claims advocacy. Our Treat organization’s mission is to deliver healthy outcomes for our members. We are focused on helping members engage with our medical and behavioral health practice through Telemedicine as well as continue to advocate, advise and inform them along their healthcare journey.

We are seeking an Android Engineer to join our growing Treat Engineering team to help build the Android experience in a fast, accessible, and intuitive way. You will play a key role in the implementation and launch of the Android application. You will closely partner with our Product and Design teams on application design, user experience, developer workflows, deployment strategies, and testing of the native mobile applications.

About You:

You are excited about breaking ground on a brand new code base, being on a growing high performance team, collaborating on the standard of quality for mobile development, strategizing how we deliver impact for the business, and executing on the vision of world-class mobile applications.

Responsibilities:

• Build, test, and deploy user experiences in our Android application
• Measure and optimize the performance of the Android application at scale
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers on planning and implementing frictionless user experiences
• Work with the team to continue development of best practices
• Be self motivated with the ability to make smart decisions and ask questions when necessary

Qualifications:

• Recent 2024 Graduate
• Command of Kotlin language
• Exceptional technical communication skills
• Experience integrating and leveraging external services for purposes such as user analytics, feature flagging, and authentication
• Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices and standards
• Thorough understanding of RESTful API and application design
• Experience in our other technologies a bonus: GraphQL, JavaScript, React, ReactNative, AWS

The United States new hire base salary target ranges for this full-time position are:

• Zone A: $108,890 - $141,560 + equity + benefits
• Zone B: $125,224 - $162,794 + equity + benefits
• Zone C: $136,113 - $176,950 + equity + benefits
• Zone D: $141,557 - $184,028 + equity + benefits

This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for candidates based on their respective Zone. Below is additional information on Included Health's commitment to maintaining transparent and equitable compensation practices across our distinct geographic zones.

Starting base salary for the successful candidate will depend on several job-related factors, unique to each candidate, which may include, but not limited to, education; training; skill set; years and depth of experience; certifications and licensure; business needs; internal peer equity; organizational considerations; and alignment with geographic and market data. Compensation structures and ranges are tailored to each zone's unique market conditions to ensure that all employees receive fair and competitive compensation based on their roles and locations.
