Responsibilities

• Trim cloud bill by right-sizing Kubernetes infra in Ames, IA.
• Integrate third-party services and internal tools.
• Pair-program tricky microservices edge cases with Ames engineers.
• Question the deadline-driven React pattern and propose cleaner approaches.
• Lead TypeScript migration and modernize legacy stack.
• Own a technology service end to end, from unit testing to on-call rotation.
• Own mid-level Kotlin workstream to unblock Ames roadmap.
