Job summary

ActiveHours in Palo Alto is seeking an Android Developer to build an easy to use, fast, and reliable Android app. You will work alongside cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features while improving existing ones.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years experience in Android development with apps in the store, strong knowledge of Android Java, and excellent problem-solving skills.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product and design to define, design, and ship new features as well as to improve existing ones.
• Build reusable Android software components
• Design, produce, test and debug software from functional specifications
• Maintain best practices throughout the code base
• Ensure that unit tests pass
