Job summary

Staffing Spot, Inc. is seeking an experienced Android developer to design, build, and test high-quality Android applications in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with Kotlin, coroutines, and modern Jetpack components to create robust mobile solutions that scale and perform well across diverse devices. You will collaborate with product teams, designers, QA, and backend engineers while ensuring code quality, security, and maintainability.

Qualifications

• 5 years of professional software development experience, with at least 4 years specifically in Android development within a corporate or enterprise environment.
• 3 years of hands-on experience with Kotlin, Reactive Programming, Coroutines, and Dependency Injection frameworks such as Dagger.
• Strong experience with Android Jetpack Architecture Components.
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and hands-on experience with Retrofit.
• Proven experience developing and delivering Android applications, with examples available on public app stores.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent additional professional software development experience.
