Job summary

Siri InfoSolutions Inc. is seeking an experienced Android Developer for a 7-month engagement in Lake Buena Vista, FL. Onsite Monday-Thursday with remote Fridays; relocation may be requested.

You will design, develop, and deliver scalable Android apps using Java/Kotlin, Android OS/SDK, and REST APIs. The role requires strong CS fundamentals, experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab, Agile processes, and knowledge of local storage systems.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience designing and building scalable mobile/web apps.
• SDLC experience with backlog management and Agile methodologies (Jira).
• Proficient in Android development with Java and Kotlin.
• Strong knowledge of Android OS, SDK, and hardware integration.
• Experience with local storage (RDBMS/NoSQL) and persistence stacks.
• Version control with Git/GitHub/GitLab and CI/CD tooling.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and mobile app integrations.
• Solid CS fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android applications across devices and OS versions.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver features.
• Integrate REST APIs and vendor SDKs for seamless functionality.
• Ensure performance, reliability, and comprehensive test coverage.
• Participate in code reviews and CI/CD pipeline improvements.

Duration: 7 months - 8/5/2026 to 3/6/2027

Work Schedule: M-Th Onsite, F Remote

Location Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830

Must be willing to relocate/work onsite (2 weeks' notice from time of offer accept)

Zero exceptions will be made, as this is corporate policy - no delayed remote start, no remote work

Basic Qualifications:

Required Qualifications & Skills

5-8 years of experience in design, development, and implementation of highly scalable software systems and components for mobile and web applications

Experience is SDLC, backlog management and tracking

Experience Agile methodologies and using tools such as Jira to track and perform ceremonies

5+ years of Object-Oriented Analysis, Design and Development experience

Extensive experience with Android development with Java and Kotlin

Strong understanding of Android OS, Android SDK, and hardware integration and configuration

Experience with local storage RDBMS, NoSQL and Android internal persistence stack

Extensive experience using Git, Gitlab, GitHub, Hardness for CI/CD

Expertise in HTTP and REST-style web services, and best practices for Mobile App integration

Sound CS Fundamentals

Preferred Qualifications:

Understanding of point of sales terminal applications or similar technologies

Experience consuming APIs such as RESTful services and vendor SDKs

Experience in Cloud solutions and development practices

Experience in Splunk and application monitoring tools such as AppDynamics/New Relic/Datadog

Experience with analytics and/or crash reporting tools (AppDynamics, Crashlytics, etc)

Understanding of modern SRE best practices.
