We are seeking an experienced Senior Android Developer to join our team in Alpharetta, GA. This is a hybrid role, requiring on-site presence twice a week, with a long-term engagement of 12+ months and strong potential for extensions.

The ideal candidate will bring 12+ years of mobile development experience, with deep expertise in Android development using Kotlin, and a strong background in building high-quality, scalable mobile applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and enhance Android applications that meet both business and client needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android mobile applications using Kotlin and Android development tools
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end mobile solutions
• Customize and enhance mobile applications based on client and project requirements
• Ensure performance, scalability, security, and responsiveness of Android applications
• Work extensively with Android UI components and modern design principles
• Implement and maintain features using Android Maps SDK
• Manage mobile builds, deployments, and integrations using standard mobile development and build tools
• Participate in code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior developers when needed
• Stay current with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in mobile and Android development
• Participate in customer and project interviews as required

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of overall experience in mobile application development
• Strong expertise in Android development with hands-on experience in Kotlin
• Extensive experience working with Android Maps SDK
• Solid understanding of Android UI development, layouts, and material design principles
• Proficiency in mobile development tools, build systems, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience developing Android applications using Kotlin, Java, or related platforms
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and performance optimization
• Excellent English communication skills (B2+ level)
• Ability and willingness to work hybrid (on-site twice a week in Alpharetta, GA)
• Expected seniority level: Senior / Lead-level contributor
