Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional software engineering experience, including extensive Android production work.
• Deep expertise in Kotlin and modern Android development with a track record of setting technical standards.
• Experience leading large, org-spanning technical initiatives and influencing across executives and multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Define multi-year technical strategy behind Slack Android experiences across teams.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives from exploration to production rollout.
• Lead feature prototyping to define Android user experiences for Slack’s opportunities.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to balance user needs with technical constraints.
• Identify org-wide opportunities to improve performance, reliability, and developer productivity.
• Act as top-level technical authority influencing architectural decisions across the org.
