Job summary

Google is seeking a Developer Relations Engineer to be the customer zero of Android AI features, building on-device AI models with Google APIs and providing early technical feedback. You will collaborate with product engineering, represent developer interests internally, and help shape the developer experience.

You will write sample code, engage with developer communities, and work with cross-functional teams to influence API designs and product direction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of work experience in a technical role (e.g., software engineering, solutions consultant, etc.).
• 3 years of experience with Android application development and coding in Java/Kotlin.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage product engagement and identify user needs.
• Attend or facilitate conferences and events to gain and share insights on user experience and technologies.
• Lead strategic developer programs and act as an authority in the domain.
• Contribute input and feedback on products or programs, and represent the interests of partners to internal stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience
