Job summary

Walters-Morgan Construction, Inc is seeking Pipe Laborers for an ongoing project in the Andover, KS area. This is a hands-on, mechanical role with experience in underground pipe, PVC, ductile iron, flange pipe, and related equipment installation.

You will be trained on the job; candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, bend, squat, and perform repetitive tasks. Reliable transportation is required.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn on site.
• Experience with underground pipe, PVC, ductile iron, flange pipe and related equipment installation.
• Willingness to follow training and safety procedures.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pipe installation and equipment setup on site.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing ladders.
• Follow supervisor instructions and repeat tasks after training.

Walters Morgan Construction, Inc is now hiring Pipe Laborers for an ongoing construction project in the Andover, KS area

Looking for a mechanically inclined individual, with experience with underground pipe, PVC, ductile iron, flange pipe, and miscellaneous equipment installation.

Self-motivated - will train the right individuals.

Ability to retain instructions and independently repeat a task after receiving adequate training.

General requirements include, but are not limited to:

• Climbing up and down ladders
• Ability to lift objects that weigh 50 +/- lbs
• Bending, squatting, kneeling, and operating equipment for hours at a time.
• Previous experience in construction is desired
• Must have reliable transportation or travel arrangements

Walters Morgan Construction will run a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
