Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is hiring an Ancillary Health Services Specialist in Boca Raton, FL. You will facilitate recruitment, onboarding, and post-offer screening for new hires in the department, and manage staffing schedules to ensure resident care coverage and regulatory compliance.

You will also support payroll by tracking attendance, tardiness, overtime, and time clock activity while providing confidential administrative assistance in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of clerical and/or administrative experience.
  • Prior scheduling experience is required, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficient with or the ability to learn the ATS, HRIS, and scheduling system.

Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Ancillary Health Services Specialist position.

In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating recruitment, onboarding, and post-offer screening for new hires within the department. Responsible for managing the staffing schedule for all clinical personnel to ensure optimal coverage that meets resident care needs and regulatory standards. Manages the payroll process by accurately tracking attendance, tardiness, overtime, and time clock activity. Provides clerical and administrative support to the department, while demonstrating a high degree of initiative and discretion in managing complex, sensitive, and confidential tasks within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years of clerical and/or administrative experience
  • Prior scheduling experience is required, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Proficient with or the ability to learn the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), onboarding applications, Human Resources Information System (HRIS), and scheduling system

Pay Range

$23.69 - $29.43 / hour. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
