Qualifications

  • Experience: Television news anchoring - 5-7 years.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field or comparable television work experience
  • Technical Skills: Experience in live shooting and editing news
  • Skills: Excellent on-air camera skills, ability to work under pressure
  • Abilities: Leadership skills, capable of managing multiple priorities as well as a proactive problem-solver, lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds
  • Travel Ability: Must be open to travel to discover the important stories in your neighborhood and willing to interact with the community
  • Schedule: Work different shifts or longer shifts due to 'breaking news' and severe weather emergencies and able to work weekends and holidays
