Job summary

Chamberlain University in the United States seeks visiting professors to teach Anatomy & Physiology I-IV with Lab (BIOS-251 through BIOS-256) to undergraduate and graduate students. Courses meet once or twice weekly for eight weeks; face-to-face instruction blends with online discussions and assignments, with commitment on a course-by-course basis.

Responsibilities include designing an approved syllabus, organizing materials, utilizing online tools, and providing timely feedback to students.

Qualifications

Master's Degree is required for all faculty positions (with 18 graduate hours in the subject being taught for undergraduate teaching).
Faculty must have subject matter expertise and outstanding communication skills.
Faculty must have motivational and instructional skills in a diverse and non-traditional environment.
Ability to work collegially and facilitate diverse groups; state licensing/ accreditation considerations may apply.

Responsibilities

Develops and provides an approved Covista syllabus following campus template and terminal objectives.
Organizes, prepares, and updates all course materials and content.
Uses online discussions and course-related software to make materials accessible to students.
Models clear oral and written communication to engage students and improve learning.
Sets course expectations with terminal objectives, dates, and grade distribution.
Ensures exams reflect course objectives and provides timely feedback.
Performs other duties as assigned.
