Job summary

Case Western Reserve University’s School of Dental Medicine seeks a part-time Laboratory Instructor to facilitate small-group anatomy labs, lead review sessions, and guide students in head and neck anatomy concepts using cadaveric specimens.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of Anatomy experience; Completion of graduate-level courses.
• Exceptional knowledge of science courses, obtaining a grade B or higher.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate small-group laboratory instruction and lead lab review sessions.
• Assist with the proper handling and care of cadaveric specimens.
• Hold tutoring sessions outside of scheduled laboratory time to support student learning.
• Provide guidance and clarification on head and neck anatomy concepts and laboratory material.
• Develop a practice laboratory examination and assist in preparing the actual laboratory examination.
• Proctor the laboratory examination.
• Maintain a professional, respectful, and supportive learning environment.
