Touro University California invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure track Assistant or Associate Professor in Foundational Biomedical Sciences at the Mare Island campus in Vallejo, CA.

The candidate will teach dissection-based human gross anatomy to COM and MSMHS programs, develop assessments, mentor students, and establish an active research program with intramural and extramural funding. The role includes service to the department and university.

Competenze

• Ph.D in anatomy or closely related discipline required; must have defended before start date.
• Preference for candidates with substantial experience teaching cadaver dissection to medical students or health professions.
• Experience with embryology, imaging, or technology-enhanced learning preferred but not required.

• Create and deliver engaging instructional content in human gross anatomy for the COM curriculum.
• Develop instructional tools, demonstrations and guided presentations.
