Touro University California invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, benefits-eligible Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Foundational Biomedical Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine, Vallejo, CA.

The role centers on teaching dissection-based human gross anatomy and supporting the MSMHS program, with an expected productive research program and active service to the department and university.

Qualifications

• PhD in anatomy or a related discipline with defense completed prior to start date.
• Substantial experience teaching cadaver dissection to medical or health-profession students preferred.
• Experience with embryology, imaging, or educational technology is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Deliver dissection-based gross anatomy instruction for the COM curriculum.
• Develop instructional tools, demonstrations and guided presentations.
• Lead formative and summative assessments to evaluate student learning.
• Mentor and advise students and supervise research in basic sciences.
