Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in an anatomic pathology work environment.
• Certification as a Pathologists’ Assistant from the ASCP BOR.
• Ability to access files and enter data using computers.

Responsibilities

• Assist professional staff and pathologists in the Anatomic Pathology section.
• Accession specimens for pathologist review ensuring quality is maintained.
• Perform gross descriptions and photography for surgical and autopsy cases.
• Provide recommendations to leadership for improvement.
