An established industry player is seeking a Board-certified pathologist to join their small private practice in Reading, PA. READING, PENNSYLVANIA (USA) The Penn State Health System seeks an Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Board-certified pathologist to join a small private group practice providing pathology and laboratory services at St. Joseph Medical Center in Reading PA, a 220-bed regional community hospital in the Penn State Health multi-hospital system. Clinical service lines will focus on Orthopedics, General Surgery, ObGyn/Women’s Health, Thoracic, Urology, Hematology, and Clinical Pathology to include Blood Bank. There are no autopsy responsibilities. While based primarily at SJMC, they will be part of a strong and collegial group of 40 faculty members in Clinical, Anatomic, and Experimental Pathology in the Department of Pathology at the Hershey Medical Center. This is a unique opportunity to practice community pathology with access to all the resources and expertise of an academic medical center.
The successful candidate will receive an academic appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor of Pathology and will participate in limited on-site resident teaching. Board-certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and eligibility for medical licensure in Pennsylvania are required for the position. The position does not offer J1 waiver or H1B sponsorship.
